Best classical song to do ballet to?

I want something slow and rythmic. Preferably on the piano. Thanks

It's highly unlikely that you'll find anything 'new' and yet 'classical'. Simply because classical was composers such as Beethoven, Hayden, Vivaldi, Bach. But I do have some great 'classical' suggestions:

Clair de lune

by: C.A. Debussy

Melody in F

by: A. Rubinstein

Dolly's Dreaming and Awakening

by: T. Oesten

Nocturne op.9-2

by: F.F. Chopin

Valse op.64-1 "Petit chien"

by: F.F. Chopin

Valse op.64-2

F.F. Chopin

Valse op.69-1 "L'adieu"

Fur Elise

by: Beethoven

Piano Sonate op.27-2 "Mondschein" 1st mov. "Moonlight Sonate"

by: Beethoven.

~or, if you want something that doesn't last too long, I'd suggest this, although it is in walking, or dancing speed.~

Menuette G dur BWV.Anh.114

by: J.S. Bach

These are all wonderful songs, although they might not be at the tempo you wish!

Fur Elise, Amazing Grace

it's not always easy to find suitable piano music but if you can get someone to tape The Waltz of the Flowers from the Nutcracker on Piano for you then I'd strongly recommend that because it's gorgeous and it's pretty easy to dance to, it has a 3/4 rhythm and therefore is easy to choreograph
Requiem Beethoven's fifth by Tran Siberian orchestra its non traditional to me anyways
Moonlight Sonata..

i had to do a solo to this and believe me.. once you get on the dance floor and find the right beats you can hit so many accents and it can turn out amazingly good.
Christofori's Dream.

Amazing song. It's in iTunes if you want to listen to it. Its newer, meaning it wasn't written is the 1800's.
