i want to be abbel to eat but be nice and slim for dancing!

Whats a good diet for a ballet dancer?say yes

i did some research on that a week ago and what it said to do is don't exactly eat 3 meals a day, but eat about 6 small ones that are full of good carbs and of course, plenty of water. but for slimming down what i've done (which, sense i'm underweight i haven't really been following this part) is limit myself to one piece of candy a day, or none at all and eating plenty of greens.

good luck!

and keep on dancing!

It will provide you with your exact diet! Then you can print it out if you want.
you would want to choose a diet that keeps you on your toes rather than one that when you bend over you split your britches.
salad! Lots and lots of salad. You can use calorie free and carb free dressing i think it is walden farms brand if you can find that and just switch dressing when you get tired of one
Many dancers will starve themselves in order to get the perfect "ballet body". In actual fact, this is not necessary. All that is required is a balanced diet.

I found this great website: http://www.freewebs.com-The Ballet Site

I hope it will work out. Good luck!
A dancer should eat about five small meals a day, rather than three large ones. It is very important to get many servings of fruit and veggies as well as carbs and starch. You also want to ensure that you are eating protien because you need your bones to reamin stong since many moves place a lot of strain on them.

A large percentage of dancers have anorexia, because they strive for the perfect body. Over all however this will be bad since your body is not getting the nutrition it needs to be active many hours in a day.

It is imortant if you do not want to gain weight to stay away from sugary foods, and unnecicary fatty foods.
