Does getting accepted into a ballet company include the kind of padding you wear for your pointe sho

I have been wondering about that question for a while. For example you wear gel pads, would you still be accepted into a professional school/company regardless of the padding you use or even pointe shoe brand?

If you are a strong enough dancer, it does not matter what brand of shoe you wear or kind of padding you use. My only comment would be if you feel the need for gel pads, are you sure you feet are strong enough and your skin tough enough; to dance on pointe all day long like most female professional dancers do? Most professional dancers only use a strip of paper-towel or nothing at all. If they are nursing a blister or other injury, they might use just a tiny bit of lambswool.

The only concern regarding brand would be that true professional companies will buy/provide you with a certain amount of pointe shoes. And they usually have purchasing arrangements with the major shoe companies. By the time most female dancers get to a pro company, they even have a specific maker that they have their shoes made by so the company will order batches of shoe in your exact size, shank length and made by your maker.

i don't think that that really matters.. they accept you into their company based on your skill.. they may have you change what shoes or padding you wear but that is all
