Need english translations for french ballet terms!!!!!!?

okay here are the terms-

I've been a dancer for 10 years! I think this will help you:



1. plie'- to bend



2. passe- at the knee



3. tendu- pointing on the ground either in front,side, or back



4. releve-to rise



5. rond de jambe-on the floor, front, side, back or visa-versa



6. de'gage- a petite battement a third of the way off the floor



7. grand jete'- a big leap like a split in the air



8. soutenu- a sou sou turn



9. pirouette- to turn- prepare then turn in passe



10. pas de bourre'e-back, side, front



11. chasse'- slide your legs open to second position



12. tombe'-a bent knee before doing a pas de bourre'e



13. chaine'- up on balls of feet and turn from first position to second



14. coupe'- between knee and ankle



15. battement- a 90 degree angle to front, side, or back



16. developpe'-go through sur las coudepied (at the ankle), coupe', passe, attitude (between passe and battement), battment, and close



17. pique'- to prick



18. arabesque- full weight on ball of foot (one foot only), and bring the leg up to 990 degrees
